Melting Crucible is mostly used for melting precious metals, such as Gold, Silver, Bronze, Copper, Brass and more. Crucible Capacity is 40 T.oz./1200 Grams, made of clay bonded high grade fused silica, long lasting "A-1 QUALITY" withstands temperatures up to 2500°F / 1371°C. Crucible can be used with a gas melting furnace or torch melting. A superior quality crucible, made of High Grade Fused Silica, extending the life of usage of the Crucible. The wall thickness is heavier than other similar types ( 5/16" / 8mm ).
