The Danish warriors Raif and Magnus lived every moment of their lives in accordance with their pagan moral code. They knew their time among the land of the living was short and the honour they desired to leave behind would be legendary. The friends were joined by a free thinking Christian Monk who wished to bridge the gap between the two dominant faiths of Europe.
